The design of every bearing has been optimized
to provide the user with the most efficient and dependable product
possible. Years of experience have shown the need for a proper
balance between rolling element diameter and raceway thickness,
Roller length and the flange and cage ring thickness, and the
number of rollers or balls and the thickness of the cage web
separating the elements. Such a balanced design gives the user
high load carrying capacity without jeopardizing the strength
of the individual bearing components. However, more goes into
an AMERICAN roller bearing than a balanced design. Execution
of the design is what makes the product excellent, and the following
discussion describes the various components that make up our
line of industrial bearings.
